Winners of the 2011 Holiday Lights Contest!

A fun night was had by our Questa Mountain House team of judges on Sunday night! We drove around Mountain House from 5-7pm to judge the homes that entered the Holiday Lights contest and have decided on the winners!  Here are the Judges’ Award, three Honorable Mentions and the winner from the online voting contest!The online voting award goes to the Ramirez family at 65 McDermott Ave! Great job getting all of those votes! They have won a $500 AmEx gift card! Congratulations!

We also have three Honorable Mentions which go to very deserving homes.Honorable Mention #1: This award goes to the Scheibe home at 516 Bonaventure Ave.! Mr. & Mrs. Clause were out waving and handing out candy canes –too cute! They won a $100 AmEx gift card.
Honorable Mention #2: This award goes to the Franklin home at 531 W. Conejo Ave. This home really lit up the sky! They won a $100 AmEx gift card.
Honorable Mention #3: This award goes to the Valdez family at 108 Sean Ave. There were a lot of lights with a cute countdown machine showing how many days until Christmas! They won a $100 AmEx gift card.

June 11 – Kite Festival, Fun Run & Brand New Homes!

Three of the biggest events in Mountain House are coming together this Saturday, June 11:

The 6th Annual MHCSD Fun Run
The 5th Annual Kite Festival
And, the Grand Opening of Montalcino by Standard Pacific Homes!

This all-day event kicks off with a Kids Run at 8:00 am and a 5K and 10K Fun Run at 8:30 am. You can still register for the Fun Run by clicking HERE.The Mountain House signature event, the Annual Kite Festival, will begin at 10:00 am and activities are scheduled all day until 5:00 pm. Food booths, face painting, and entertainment are all part of the fun.Montalcino by Standard Pacific Homes, Questa at Mountain House’s newest neighborhood, is holding their Model Grand Opening event from 10am until 3pm. These new homes range from 1,957 to 2,420 square feet and will be priced from the high $200,000s.Registration is only necessary if you plan to participate in the Fun Run  You can still register from now until race day. The fee is $30 for late/race day registrations. The fee for groups of four or more is $15. Click HERE to register.Hope everybody has a fun filled weekend!
